DIALECT4 Hosts Online Training of Trainers: Building Capacity Through Collaboration and Shared Learning

The DIALECT4 project successfully held an online training of Trainers hosted by ActionAid Hellas, bringing together trainers, mediators and coaches from all partner countries participating in the project.
During this interactive session, participants were introduced to the newly developed DIALECT4 educational toolkits, “Media Smart on the Pitch” and “Beyond Goals.” Trainers explored the structure and methodology of the materials, discussed best practices and shared ideas on how to implement the activities effectively within their local contexts.
The meeting also served as a valuable space for open dialogue and peer exchange, where participants could ask questions, clarify details and deepen their understanding of how football can be used as a tool for education, inclusion, and life skills development.
The training also included a dedicated session on Child Protection Policies, ensuring that all trainers and coaches are fully aware of safeguarding principles and best practices. Participants discussed how to create safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments for children, both during sports activities and in online interactions.
The session concluded on an optimistic note, with all partners agreeing to reconnect next month for the next project meeting to continue their collaboration and share feedback from the first stages of implementation.
